Reed goes back-to-back
Yamaha's Chad Reed, won his third THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series race victory of the season at the Citrus Bowl in front of 41,969 fans. Suzuki's Davi Millsaps, of Cairo, Ga., won his second career 125cc Eastern Regional THQ AMA Supercross Series race.

Reed keeps in touch with RC
Chad Reed pulls off back-to-back victories under the lights at historic Daytona International Speedway winning the 35th Daytona Supercross By Honda. Reed, rider of the No. 22 Yamaha, battled four-time Daytona Supercross By Honda champion Ricky Carmichael for most of the race before the Suzuki rider rode off the course on Lap 17.

Charmichael does it again in St. Louis
Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael, picked up his 7th race win in front of 53,197 fans at the Edward Jones Dome. When the gate dropped Carmichael bolted into the lead whilst Reed got caught up behind Honda's Ernesto Fonseca. In previous weeks Reed has mounted a strong come back, but with the rutted sticky track suiting Carmichael and Reed taking a lap to get by Fonseca this round would turn into a formality as Reed could not account for Carmichaels speed and consistency.

Josh Coppins wins the Pernes les Fontaines International
Coppins took 3-1-1 results to take victory. Coppins won moto two from Smets and Mike Alessi and moto three from Antoine Meo and Julian Bill. Coppins proved his decision to not race in the Mantova International two weeks ago and the Valence International a week ago was a good one as his race speed was never in question.

Carmichael beats Reed at the Georgia Dome
Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael, rebounds inside Atlanta's Georgia Dome, picking up his sixth AMA Supercross Series race win in front of 62,764 fans. Reed won the $1,500 Butterfinger Holeshot award with Carmichael in tow for the first six laps.

Before 53,595 fans at a wet Qualcomm Stadium, Yamaha's Chad Reed, won his first THQ AMA Supercross Series race of the season. Reed overtook Charmichael on the last lap with a trademark block-pass.

KTM factory rider Ben Townley has won the Valence International Motocross with a consistent 2-4-1 result. Second went to Yamaha rider Cedric Melotte with 6-1-2 while third place was Honda mounted Pascal Leuret with 4-6-4.

Lionel Frank Pratt was born in New Zealand in 1901. He came to Australia to work for his brothers joy flight business. Frank as he was he was called would go on to become one of Australia's most unique sportsmen and a founding member of the SMCC. More

Masters Games
The 10th Australian Masters Games is Australia's largest multisport event. Conducted every two years, next year's Games return to Adelaide for even more competition, fun, and festivities. The Games will take place on the 7-16 October 2005. The ages allowed are from 30 years upwards. Classes will be provided for Classic, Post Classic, Ladies, Sidecars and Open.
